Outreach and Missions mobilizes volunteer and financial support from our congregation to promote charitable causes in the spirit of Christian love at the local, regional, and international level.
Our church has supported local organizations such as the Attleboro Area Council of Churches, the Attleboro Energy Fund, the Old Colony Habitat for Humanity, the Homeless Coalition, the Attleboro Area Community Council, New Hope, the Literacy Center, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Regionally we have supported food pantries and co-ops outside our community, the Boston Fisher House (which builds houses for families to stay at while visiting loved ones in Veterans Hospitals), and the Maine Seacoast Mission (which provides health and youth programs to Downeast Maine). We have provided fundraising and support for international organizations and efforts such as Heifer International, Church World Services, One Great Hour of Sharing, 30 Hour Famine, Holy Joe’s Café (which provides support for soldiers overseas), and various medical charities amongst others.
