Philosophy and Programs

Our educational ministries are designed to provide opportunities for God's children of all ages to ask and explore questions of faith in a nurturing, accepting environment. For a printable brochure with more extensive information, please click here (EdMin_0506.pdf / 55K).

Nursery Education: During the Sunday morning worship service, we provide loving nursery care for our infants and toddlers through age 3. This includes a short story time and snack for older toddlers and serves to introduce our littlest ones to the stories of our faith. Our Nursery program is available year-round.

Children's Education: Summer story time for Pre-school-Second grade students Sunday School for children age three (Pre-Kindergarten) through Grade 4, we offer regular Sunday School classes using the ecumenical curriculum, Seasons of the Spirit. This Revised Common Lectionary-based curriculum is sponsored by a number of denominations in America, Canada, and Australia. It encompasses worship, education, and mission. Sunday School for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4 begins after the children and youth participate in the first part of the 10 AM Sunday morning worship service and runs until 11:15 from September 9, 2007 - June, 2008.

Youth Ministry: Participants the Youth Ministry programs have the opportunity to put faith into action through a variety of outreach and mission projects during the program year and also assist with and lead the Sunday morning worship service on occasion.
